We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you.
Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. We normally plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, spring flowers for example, or based on schedules.

We check-in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.
While we normally don't send this questionnaire until closer to the wedding, please don't hesitate to let us know if you have questions during the planning process!

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about twelve weeks of your wedding. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.
We hope the relationship doesn't end after we deliver your photographs. We want to hear about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids, we'd love to document your growing family.

My clients secure their wedding date by signing an online contract and paying the deposit.
I divide payment into five equal installments, with the first due at signing as the deposit. The four remaining payments are spread between signing and the wedding.
My clients receive email reminders as their payments come due. My clients can also log into their client portal page at anytime to review their contract, invoice, photography timeline, family photo list and client questionnaires.

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a 25% non-refundable retainer fee. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let us know and we’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 30 days before the wedding.

To put it simply, yes. However, there are a lot of factors that go into it and it doesn't always suit everyone's needs! Second shooters are amazing to have at bigger ceremonies or ceremonies that are shorter, (around 15 mins.) They can be useful in really any setting, but they are most beneficial in busier, bigger events where I can't be everywhere at once! On the other hand, I am experienced at solo shooting so do not feel like you have to add one.
DO YOU RECOMMEND A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
A bridal session takes place the same day as your hair and makeup trial, and I deliver the photos before your wedding. These photos of just the bride are great for a few reasons! Not only do they let you see how your makeup will photograph, they also let you see how your dress fits while you move around in it. In addition, it takes some stress off of the actual wedding day portraits, since you already have some of you finished!
WHAT IS A BRIDAL SESSION?
My two biggest points when discussing this are always:
- Nobody likes photos of themselves without makeup, so you don’t need me there at the very start.
- The same people end up on the dance floor all night long - you won’t need me there until the very end because I’ll just be taking the same photos over and over! If you're doing an exit, you can always do an earlier one, and then go back to partying.
WHAT COLLECTION DO WE REALLY NEED?
Our normal delivery time is twelve weeks from the event. Unless payment is delayed. We do not begin editing until all payments are made in full.
We offer a rush service to have images delivered within one week of the event for an additional $500.00
How long will the photos take to be delivered?
Yes. I make all of the images available for download in high-resolution and web size.
I recommend that you download the full gallery immediately and save to a backup. However, I keep several backups of all of my work - if you ever need anything do not hesitate to ask.
The gallery will be live for a year from the date the images are delivered.
Can I download my photos? How long will my gallery be active?
Galleries typically include anywhere between 150 and 700 photos depending on your hourly coverage. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can download anywhere, and easily order prints. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on social media as long as you credit us and link to our website.
How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?
CAN WE ORDER PRINTS, ALBUMS, AND OTHER PRODUCTS FROM YOU?
Yes! Prints, albums, canvases, holiday cards, and more are all available directly from your gallery. When you open your gallery it will walk you through all of the steps to order. Keep in mind that you don’t have to order your prints through me if you don’t want to - you will receive a print release in your contract.
